Becoming a new practice member at Boost can sometimes be an exciting and scary time for many people. Our warm staff will invite you inside, get you a glass of water and introduce you to our practice.
Dr Tom Vaughan
The team is led by Dr Tom Vaughan; his Chiropractic interest lays in family practice with a special love for sports performance. Tom believes that your body’s natural state should be fantastic health and it his mission to share this vitalistic philosophy of health with the local community.
Through a high level of Chiropractic care Tom’s job is to make sure your central nervous system (master controlling system) is functioning as best as possible. His belief is that feeling good should be a side effect of a healthy well-functioning body.
Outside of running Boost Chiropractic Tom loves family time with his children, fishing, diving, gym, following the rugby, getting involved in the community and also teaches Chiropractic students at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic’s Chiropractic Center each week as an intern mentor.
Dr Chanelle Vaughan
Dr Chanelle Vaughan is the pregnancy and pediatric expert at Boost, however she has practice members under care from all walks of life. Her passion lies in supporting mothers from pre-conception through pregnancy and beyond and helping children grow and develop at their very best. Chanelle has checked babies from just hours old and is dedicated to ensuring the best care for these important little people and those that look after them, a passion that only strengthened with the birth of her own children.
Prior to working full time at Boost Chanelle taught multiple classes, including pediatrics, at the world renowned New Zealand College of Chiropractic in Auckland for 6 years. After having 3 children of her own she has now given up the daily commute and can be found in practice 3 days a week. In her downtime she enjoys spending time with her children, partner and animals in and around the water and local beaches, reading and sneaking in the odd nap when she can!
Dr Victoria Clare
Victoria moved to New Zealand in 2017 from Canada. She discovered chiropractic while studying Kinesiology in Canada and graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2020. She loves to empower families to be their best selves. She believes that every person deserves to be happy, healthy and experience life uninhibitedly. Her purpose is to love and serve her community by providing vitalistic, principled chiropractic care.
When she’s not serving her community with chiropractic care, Victoria enjoys going to the beach, running, reading, playing with dogs and exploring what nature has to offer.
I left New Zealand in 1987 with my husband and two children, one who was disabled. Keith and I ran our own business on the Sunshine Coast in QLD for 30 years before we recently returned to New Zealand. Our family have been under Chiropractic care for the past 20 years and we love it, so much so that I now work as the front of house at Boost – so now I’m talking Chiropractic every day!
